Girl Talk - Mother/Daughter Tea

Calling all mothers, guardians of girls in Grades 6 to 8! The Theology of the Body Ministry is inviting you to a facilitated “Girl Talk” with your tween/teen daughter which includes refreshments on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Bernadette’s Parish.

Join us for a faith-filled look at what it means to be a girl in today’s society.

“Middle school students are in an often-confusing time of quest and discovery, especially with issues concerning their bodies, their sexuality and their future. There are countless sources—from the media, to peers, to the Internet—ready to provide answers.” From Theology of the Body Middle School Edition

The workshop will have activities; video clips and conversation that will help girls develop their knowledge and skills for healthy relationships. It also helps mothers answer questions such as “What do I tell her?” “When do I tell her?” “How do I tell her?” It helps you equip your tween/teen for the future.
